Changelog

Everything that shipped, newest first.

Updated Oct 11, 2026

October 11, 2026

  • Fixed: when a team member asked for a backup .zip, the email went to the account owner, whose link then didn’t work. Now the person who asked and the owner both get the email, and both can download it.
  • Clarified how long backups are kept: one a day for the 90 most recent days that had a backup, so at least 90 days, and longer for sites backed up less often. See How long backups are kept.
  • Help center: we checked every article against how WP Foreman works today and fixed what had drifted, including plans and billing, sign-in, safe updates, rules, the morning report, backups and restores, storage, the Foreman’s limits and the API reference. The roadmap line on What is WP Foreman now shows what’s live and what’s next.
  • New: short videos on the help pages they belong to, for client reports, renewals, Ask the Foreman (and using your own key), backups to your own storage, and the WP Foreman intro. They play right inside the Field manual too.
  • New: the Field manual. Most pages now have an orange tab on the right edge; click it and the help article for that page slides in, so you can read up without leaving what you’re doing. See The field manual.
  • New: Client since on care plan renewals. In the anniversary month, the client report opens with a cake (one candle per year, confetti on milestone years) and a thank-you from your agency. See Celebrate a client’s anniversary.
  • Fixed: a long first backup of a big website could get stuck showing “Pulling files…” and block that website’s other backups and updates. Long backups now run to the end, and anything interrupted is marked as stopped within a couple of hours so the website carries on; the next backup picks up where it left off.

October 10, 2026

  • New: Sign in as in each site’s settings. When a site has several WordPress administrators, pick the one one-click sign-in uses (and WP Foreman support, if you allow it on a request). See Choose the account.
  • Fixed: after signing in with an emailed link, WP Admin (and support’s sign-in button) could fail with a “419 Page Expired” error until you refreshed the page. It now works straight away.
  • Behind the scenes: WP Foreman moved to a bigger server, and backups now manage the server’s working space automatically, so a busy night can’t fill the disk. If space ever runs short, a backup waits and retries instead of failing, and our team is alerted.

October 9, 2026

  • New: on a support request about a website, you can allow WP Foreman support to sign in to its wp-admin. Only that website, for 72 hours or until the request closes, removable any time; every sign-in is recorded in the website’s log and emailed to you. See Let support sign in.
  • New: Support in the menu. Send the WP Foreman team a request about a website or your account, attach screenshots, and follow replies in the app (with an email when we answer). Your whole team sees the account’s requests. See Get help from the WP Foreman team.
  • Privacy: we’ve spelled out what WP Foreman staff can see when helping you (account details and website health, never your backups, clients, reports or chats), and every staff look at an account is now logged. See What our team can see.
  • Fixed: adding several sites in a row charged your card once per site, which can make a bank freeze the card. Sites added within 15 minutes are now billed as one charge, and new sites are charged right away at most once a day; anything added later that day goes on your next invoice. See Adding a site mid-period.
  • Deleting plugins or themes now asks in a box in the middle of the screen, listing what will be removed, instead of a bar at the top of the list you could miss after scrolling.
  • Security now catches new vulnerabilities found by Patchstack and WPScan the day they’re published, not just Wordfence’s. Every hour WP Foreman reads new CVE records for WordPress plugins and themes (including premium ones) and re-checks sites when one arrives. Duplicates show once. See Where the data comes from.
  • Clarified what Security does: it scans for known vulnerabilities and alerts you; it doesn’t patch or block attacks. Virtual patching is planned as an optional paid add-on. See Scanning, not patching.
  • The Foreman now checks this help center before explaining a failure or error, and sees each website’s host and the exact error messages from the site log, so answers like “why did these updates fail?” point to the real cause and the right article instead of guesses.
  • WP Engine: updates and installs on WP Engine need one more step. WP Engine only lets requests it trusts change plugin files, so their support has to add a rule for WP Foreman once per account (we’ve asked them to make it platform-wide). New page with the copy-paste request: Websites on WP Engine. “Could not copy file” failures on WP Engine now link straight to it.
  • Security is back: every night the Sweeper checks each website’s plugins, themes and WordPress version against Wordfence Intelligence’s list of known vulnerabilities, and shows what to update. See Known vulnerabilities.
  • Fixed: after switching between your account and a team’s with Working in, pages you’d just hovered (like Sites) could still show the other account’s websites until you refreshed.
  • Requests from WP Foreman to your websites now identify themselves as WPForeman/1.0, so hosts and firewalls can recognise and allowlist them.
  • New: Users on each website. See its WordPress users, add them, edit details and roles, send a password reset, and delete them while handing their content to someone else. Changes are logged; the only administrator can’t be removed. Needs plugin 0.7.7. See Manage a website’s users.
  • Each site’s Overview now has a Download plugin link next to the plugin version (under the notes), for updating the WP Foreman plugin by hand.
  • WP Engine and similar hosts: updates, installs, removals and restores no longer fail with “Could not copy file”. These hosts only let signed-in wp-admin requests change plugin files, so WP Foreman plugin 0.7.6 checks for this and, where needed, sends those changes through wp-admin with a short-lived session (gone as soon as the change is done), the same way WordPress’s own Update button works. Sites already on the host need the WP Foreman plugin updated to 0.7.6 by hand once. See If an update fails.
  • Fixed: when several plugins or themes were updated together on a site (as nightly rules do), only the first one updated and the rest were reported as “at the latest version”, even though an update was waiting. Every item in the batch now updates. The fix is in WP Foreman plugin 0.7.5; until a site has it, WP Foreman sends that site’s updates one at a time, so nothing is missed either way.
  • Updates that turn out to be already installed now show as Already up to date instead of failing, and “Could not copy file” failures explain what they mean (the server won’t let WordPress write the files) and what to ask the host. See If an update fails.

October 8, 2026

  • Adding sites mid-period now charges the prorated difference right away (with a Stripe receipt) instead of adding it to your next bill; lowering the number credits your next invoice. See Adding a site mid-period.
  • New billing emails: a reminder 7 days before a yearly plan renews, with the amount, and a heads-up the day before extra websites are paused after a plan ends. See Billing emails.
  • When a paid plan ends, you now get 5 days’ grace before websites beyond the free plan are paused. Paused websites keep their history and backups (restore and download still work), you choose which website stays active, and subscribing again resumes them all. The cancellation emails spell this out. See Plan & billing.
  • Pick a plan size: the pricing page’s Start with … sites button now takes you to checkout for that many sites (or to sign-up first if you’re new), and you can change Sites on your plan any time in Plan & billing. See Plan & billing.
  • After paying, you now land on your dashboard with a note about your plan, ready to connect sites.
  • Disconnecting Google Analytics or Google Drive now also cancels WP Foreman’s access on your Google account, not just in WP Foreman.
  • Paid plans are live. You’ll get an email from WP Foreman when your subscription starts, is set to end, ends, or a payment fails, on top of Stripe’s receipts. See Plan & billing.
  • Behind the scenes: a health check for uptime monitors at /up, security headers, a nightly backup of WP Foreman’s own database, clearer “too many requests” and “busy” pages, and an automatic test that one account can never open another account’s data.

October 7, 2026

  • Client portal: report emails now end with a link to the client’s dashboard, and the report page has an All your reports and websites button, whenever that client’s portal is on. See Client portal.
  • Client portal: each website’s card now has its own reports and renewals, so clients with several websites can find what belongs to which.
  • Client portal: you and your team sign in with your own email and get All clients, a card for every client that opens their portal as they see it. Each client has their own address (…/portal/client-name), and contacts only ever see their own clients.
  • You can now edit a renewal right from the main Renewals page (the pencil), not just from the site’s page.
  • New: Client portal. Turn it on per client and everyone in Report emails can sign in with an emailed link to see their websites (online, uptime, last backup, updates, certificate, speed), every report and the renewals you show on reports. Branded with your agency, read-only, and on your report domain when you have one. See Client portal.
  • New: Report domain in Settings › Branding. Add reports.youragency.com, add the two DNS records shown, and WP Foreman confirms it and gets the certificate issued. Once it’s live, report links and emails use your domain. See Client reports.
  • Client reports speak to your client, not to you: waiting updates now read “2 updates are ready, and we’ll install them soon”, and the AI paragraph never asks the client to approve or do anything.
  • The Needs license badge is now Can’t download: WordPress has no download link for that update. That’s usually a missing or expired license or account connection.
  • Fixed: Rank Math SEO PRO showed as needing a license whenever Rank Math SEO had an update waiting. PRO deliberately waits for the free plugin, so it now shows “after Rank Math SEO”, and updating both together does the free one first (WP Foreman plugin 0.7.4).
  • Client reports now say website instead of site, the way clients talk about it (“Your website was online 99.97% of the time”). The Renewals page can be filtered by website.
  • New: Renewals in the main menu lists every renewal on every site with what they cost a year, what’s due in the next 90 days and what’s overdue, filterable by client, type and date. Ask the Foreman can now list renewals and add them for you. See Renewals and reminders.
  • The client link now has a Save as PDF button, so clients can keep or print their report with every section open. A site’s menu always ends with Reports; coming-soon sections sit below it. Reports can be deleted right from the Past reports list.
  • New: Renewals on each site. Keep care plan, hosting, plugin license and other dates with their cost and how often they repeat, get them under Needs you and in the morning report before they’re due, mark them renewed or snooze them, and choose which ones clients see on their reports. SSL and domain dates are tracked for you. See Renewals and reminders.
  • Client reports now use your accent color from Settings › Branding; the client’s brand color is only used when you haven’t set one. The site logo no longer sits on the cover band.
  • Client reports: a new cover in your accent color with your logo, the dates, the AI summary and the homepage on a computer and a phone, and bigger at a glance cards that each open their details. Updates that were skipped because the plugin was already current no longer show as held back.
  • Client reports: an AI-written opening paragraph from the report’s own numbers, a Speed section with frames of the page loading on a phone (before and after when the score moved) and each measurement on a green-amber-red scale, and a Coming up list (updates waiting, renewals, Google’s top speed fix). See Client reports.
  • Client reports: the Visitors section now shows the period before behind this period’s chart, how people found the site in plain words, phone vs computer vs tablet, new vs returning visitors (Google Analytics) and the top cities. Works with Google Analytics, Plausible and Umami. See Client reports.
  • New: switch features off for one site. Site settings › Features has a switch each for uptime, speed tests, visual checks, analytics, security and backups, all on by default. Switched-off features stop running and leave the site’s menu, overview and client reports. See Site overview, notes and settings.
  • New: client reports got a redesign. A cover with the homepage on a computer and a phone, a Looked after this month grid (visitors trend, speed gauges, page screenshots, plugin icons, backups, days online, security), detail sections that open with a click, a gallery of every watched page with before-and-after for anything that changed, a timeline of each round of visual checks, and a sign-off with your agency details. See Client reports.
  • The WP Foreman plugin download now has its version in the file name (for example wpforeman_v0.7.3.zip), so you can tell which copy you have.

October 6, 2026

  • New: sign up on your own at app.wpforeman.com/signup with Google or an email link. Your first site is free with every feature, and you can opt in to WP Foreman news.
  • New: pay per site, monthly or yearly, from Settings › Plan & billing. Your first site stays free, adding or removing sites adjusts the bill automatically, and team members are unlimited. Manage billing (card, invoices, cancel) opens Stripe. See Plan & billing.
  • New: Settings › Plan & billing shows your plan, sites and team members used, this month’s Ask the Foreman allowance, backup storage, and receipts for lifetime purchases. See Plan & billing.
  • Ask the Foreman chats now belong to the account they were started in, so if you’re on more than one team each team’s chats stay with that team.
  • New: two-step sign-in. Add a code from an authenticator app to every sign-in, with recovery codes and “don’t ask again on this browser for 30 days”. Admins need it to use the admin area. See Two-step sign-in.
  • New: Team members. Invite the people who help you under Settings › Team. They see and work on every site and client, their name shows on everything they do, and you keep storage, branding, API and webhooks to yourself. See Team members.
  • One login, several teams: a freelancer can be on more than one agency’s team and switch between them (and their own account) from Working in at the top of the menu. Team members also get the account’s alerts now, and can Leave team.
  • WP Foreman’s emails got a makeover: the morning report, alerts, sign-in links and invites now carry the WP Foreman look, with the crew’s faces in the morning report. Client report emails still carry your branding only.
  • Plugins & themes got a refresh: plugin icons and theme screenshots from wordpress.org, a summary strip at the top, themes shown as cards, and rows with updates waiting highlighted. See Manage plugins and themes.
  • Plugins & themes now flags plugins and themes that look abandoned (no update on wordpress.org for two years) or were pulled from wordpress.org, shows when each was last updated, and adds a Needs a look filter. See Manage plugins and themes.
  • Fixed: deleting or updating several plugins or themes one row at a time only did the first one. Now each change lines up behind the last and they share one backup.
  • When a plugin or theme crashes WordPress while it’s being installed, updated or deleted, the log now shows the real PHP error and which plugin or theme it came from, instead of a generic “critical error”.
  • The “WP Foreman plugin is out” notice with its one-click Update button now also shows on Plugins & themes, and each plugin update is listed under Recent work there.
  • Fixed: installing a plugin or theme from an uploaded .zip failed with “Download failed. Forbidden”, because the site couldn’t download the file from WP Foreman. Uploads install properly now.
  • Behind the scenes: Stripe checkout for the Black Friday lifetime deal (not open yet).
  • New Contact page on wpforeman.com.
  • Old and pulled plugins are now flagged everywhere: a Worth replacing list on the Updates page, the morning report (pulled plugins under Needs you, abandoned ones under Good to know) and client reports under Needs attention.
  • Security checks are switched off for now and marked Soon in the site menu, while we move to a new vulnerability data source.
  • Send me one now under Settings › Notifications now confirms right next to the button when the morning report is on its way.

Plugin 0.7.3

  • Fixed: when WordPress refused an install (for example, the plugin folder already exists), the WP Foreman plugin crashed instead of passing on WordPress’s reason. You now see the real reason in the log.

Plugin 0.7.2

  • If a plugin crashes while it’s being installed or switched on, the site stays up: the crash is caught, the plugin is left switched off, and the exact error is sent back to WP Foreman. Update from each site’s Overview.

October 5, 2026

  • New: remove a site from its Site settings. Backups are kept 30 days and you can bring it back from the Sites page until then. API: DELETE /sites/{id}. See Disconnecting a site.
  • Beta accounts have a monthly allowance on the built-in Foreman, with a bar under the chat box showing what’s used.
  • Sites page: switch between cards and a list, both with each site’s homepage screenshot and health ring; filter by name, address or client, or show only the sites that need a look. New sites get their first screenshot as soon as they connect.
  • New Dashboard: a crew stand-up with each crew member’s status right now, a job board (Needs you, Ready for your OK, Handled) and your fleet as cards with homepage screenshots and a four-part health ring, or as a compact list. See Finding your way around.
  • New: guided tours. A one-minute welcome tour the first time you sign in, and short tours the first time you open a site, its backups, rules and reports. Replay them any time with Take the tour in the menu under your name.
  • Coming-soon markers show what’s on the way: Team in the main menu, Form testing in each site’s menu; text, Slack and chat alerts in Settings › Notifications; more security checks; removing a site; and Plan & billing, MCP server and dark mode in Settings.
  • New: Send feedback at the bottom of the menu, on every page. It goes straight to the team with the page you were on.
  • New: Getting started for beta testers. Beta accounts get every feature on up to 5 sites.
  • Dark mode is switched off for now while we restyle every page for it; WP Foreman is light-only until then.
  • Visual checks now run on their own: before and after every update and once a week. Pages that look different show up in the morning report and on the Overview until you click Looks fine. New rule trigger and webhook visual.changed, a Visual checks section on client reports with homepage screenshots, and screenshots are kept 90 days. See Visual checks.
  • Site Overview: the homepage screenshot and your notes now sit side by side at the top.
  • Every site page now has the same header, with the crew member who runs that section shown big next to the site name (it used to be a faint background image that got covered up). Uptime, Performance and Analytics gained the WP Admin and Ask the Foreman buttons.
  • Fixed: the Ask the Foreman panel no longer scrolls the page when you move between pages, and notices no longer show twice.
  • New: Visual checks (the Inspector). Full-page screenshots of up to five key pages on desktop and mobile, compared with last time, with the changes painted red. Results go in the site log. API: /sites/{id}/visual. See Visual checks.
  • New: rules can make and email client reports on a schedule, plus a new Every quarter schedule and four Reports recipes (monthly to every client, monthly for one client, weekly summary for you, quarterly review). See Rule recipes.
  • Approved changes no longer wait behind long-running backups: several jobs now run side by side (still one at a time per site).
  • New: Security (the Sweeper). Every site’s plugins, themes and WordPress version are checked nightly against Wordfence Intelligence’s list of known vulnerabilities, with severity and the version that fixes each one. Shows on each site, the Sites list, the morning report, client reports and the log. New rule trigger and webhook security.found; API GET /sites/{id}/security. See Known vulnerabilities.
  • New: a real Clients page. Add and edit clients with contact, phone, website, report emails, logo and brand color; assign sites; keep private notes. Reports use the client’s logo and color. API: PATCH /clients/{id}. See Clients.
  • Report emails can come from your own address: verify your domain with DNS records, or send through your own mail server (SMTP, including Google Workspace and Microsoft 365). Settings › Branding.
  • New: email reports to clients from the report, with your own message; addresses are remembered per client. New Settings › Branding: agency name, logo, accent color and reply-to email on reports and report emails. API: POST /reports/{id}/send.
  • Client reports go deeper: a Needs attention box, daily uptime and response-time charts, a backup calendar, speed history with phone load times and Google’s top fixes, visitors by day with before/after comparisons, and a full work log. Pick which sections to include; your choice is saved per site. New reports open in a new tab.
  • New: Client reports. Pick any dates (last month, this quarter, or exact days) and get a plain-English report with the site’s logo, found automatically on the site or uploaded. Send a private link or print it to PDF. API: /sites/{id}/reports. See Client reports.
  • New: Ask the Foreman from any page. A chat panel opens from the bottom-right corner or with ⌘J / Ctrl+J. It knows which site and page you’re on and shares history with the full Foreman page.
  • New: install plugins and themes by uploading a .zip from your computer (up to 50 MB), next to wordpress.org search and .zip links. API: POST /sites/{id}/install-upload. See Install plugins and themes.
  • Updates page: each site is indented under its plugin, theme or WordPress update.
  • Performance shows when the next daily test runs, and “First test …” for sites that haven’t been tested yet.

October 3, 2026

  • New: Notes on every site. Pin the important ones to the top of the Overview. The Foreman reads them before suggesting changes. API: /sites/{id}/notes.
  • New: health at a glance. Uptime, speed, visitors and SSL tiles on each site’s Overview, matching columns on the Sites list, and fleet cards on the Dashboard (sites down, average uptime, speed, visitors, anything expiring).
  • New: Site settings. Change a site’s name, address or client, or create a client on the spot.
  • Performance: a table of every test with a click-through to its full results, and the history chart now marks each test.

October 1, 2026

  • New: Performance. Google PageSpeed runs daily on every site, mobile and desktop: score, Core Web Vitals (lab and real visitors when Google has them), the biggest wins, and 90 days of history. Test now any time. See Site speed.
  • Score drops of 10+ points are logged and in the morning report. New rule trigger and webhook performance.dropped. API: GET /sites/{id}/performance.

September 29, 2026

  • New: Uptime monitoring. Every site is checked every minute from Cloudflare’s network. A site only counts as down after failing twice and failing from another region too, so network blips don’t wake you up. Email when it’s down and when it’s back, outage history, uptime % for 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days, response time chart, an optional keyword check for white screens, and firewall-challenge detection. See How uptime monitoring works.
  • New: SSL certificate and domain expiry warnings at 14 and 3 days.
  • Rules: A site goes down, A site comes back up, An SSL certificate or domain is about to expire. Webhooks: site.down, site.up. API: GET /sites/{id}/uptime. The morning report includes outages and expiring certificates.
  • Analytics: the property list is now searchable.

September 28, 2026

  • New: Google Analytics (GA4). Connect your Google account in Settings › Analytics (read-only), then pick the property on each site’s Analytics page. Same numbers, chart and top lists as Plausible and Umami.

September 26, 2026

  • New: Analytics. Connect Plausible or Umami (cloud or self-hosted) in Settings › Analytics, pick each site on its new Analytics page, and see visitors, visits, pageviews, bounce rate and visit length against the previous period, visitors per day, top pages and top sources. See Connect Plausible or Umami.
  • Ask the Foreman about a site’s traffic.
  • API: GET /sites/{id}/analytics.

September 24, 2026

  • New: While you were away. The crew’s report at the top of your dashboard: what Lockup, Rivet, Watchman and your rules did, what needs you, and what changed outside WP Foreman. See While you were away.
  • New: Ready for your OK. WordPress, plugin, theme and WP Foreman plugin updates that none of your rules will apply, each with an Approve button (backup first). Updates your rules will handle are listed under Good to know.
  • New: the same report by email every morning or every Monday at 7 AM your time (Settings › Notifications). Quiet days aren’t emailed.
  • 12 new rule recipes, now grouped into Updates, Alerts and Backups: daily security patches, weekly updates that leave the shop alone, monthly maintenance, weekend updates, new admin, plugin removed, WordPress updated by hand, site disconnected, outside changes to Slack, backup after a failed update, Sunday client backup, month-end snapshot. See Rule recipes.
  • Ask the Foreman “what happened while I was away?” or “what’s waiting for my OK?”
  • API: GET /digest.

September 22, 2026

  • New: Rules. Tell the crew what to do on its own: update on a schedule (“Patch Tuesday”), or react when something happens (a backup fails twice, a client installs a plugin, a new admin appears, a site disconnects). Limit updates to patch or minor versions, skip plugins, set a time window, and choose when you’re emailed. Start from a recipe, Test before you trust, and see every run in the rule’s history. See How rules work.
  • Rules pause themselves after 3 failed runs in a row, and never trigger each other.
  • Site log: date presets (today, last 7 or 30 days, this month, last month), a type and action filter, and a new Rules category.
  • Safer bulk updates: when a site gets plugin and theme updates together, none of them run if the backup before them failed.
  • API: /rules endpoints and the rules token ability. Log endpoints accept type and range. New webhook event: rule.ran.

September 20, 2026

  • New: keep backups in your own storage instead of WP Foreman’s, per site. Backups are copied, checked, then removed from WP Foreman storage; moving back never deletes yours.
  • New: S3-compatible storage (Amazon S3, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, Cloudflare R2, DigitalOcean Spaces and others), tested before it’s saved.
  • New: restore from the extra copy on the Restore tab.
  • Backups › Settings › Storage options replaces “Extra copy”, with a link to connect storage if none is connected.
  • API: GET /storage, PUT /sites/{id}/backup-storage, from_copy on restores.

September 18, 2026

  • New: extra copies in Google Drive or Dropbox. Connect your account in Settings › Backup storage, then pick it per site under Backups › Settings › Extra copy. Copies are encrypted with the same key and follow the same keep rules.
  • Copies and failed copies show on each backup and in the site log. API: copy_status and copied_at on backups.

September 16, 2026

  • Fixed: the one-click plugin update could install an old copy of the WP Foreman plugin (0.1.0) that a CDN had cached. Downloads now always use a versioned link, and the site refuses any download older than what it has. If a site of yours shows 0.1.0, upload the latest plugin from its Overview.

Plugin 0.7.1

  • Safer self-update: versioned download, version check before installing. One-click plugin updates now need 0.7.1 (one manual upload from older versions).

September 14, 2026

  • New: who changed what. When a client or anyone else installs, deletes, activates, deactivates or switches a plugin or theme, updates WordPress, or adds an administrator in wp-admin, the site log shows their name, email, role and IP within seconds.
  • New: “Heads up” emails for those changes, on by default. Settings › Notifications.
  • New: Needs license badge for premium plugin and theme updates the site can’t download.
  • New webhook event: site.changed.
  • Log details show the WordPress user, IP and how the change was made.

Plugin 0.7.0

  • Records who changed what on the site and sends it to WP Foreman right away. Reports whether each update can be downloaded.

September 13, 2026

  • New: Site log. Every site has a permanent timeline of backups, restores, copies, plugin/theme/WordPress changes, sign-ins and connection changes, with who did each one. Also on the main menu as Activity log for all sites, with search, filters and CSV export.
  • New: WP Foreman now spots changes made outside WP Foreman (in wp-admin, by auto-updates or by your host) and logs them.
  • The Foreman reads the log, so you can ask “what changed last week?”
  • API: GET /log and GET /sites/{id}/log.

September 11, 2026

  • New: WP Admin button on every site page. Opens the site’s dashboard already signed in, with a one-time link that expires in 60 seconds.
  • New: update the WP Foreman plugin from WP Foreman. Sites on 0.6.0 or newer show an Update button when a new version is out.
  • New for admins: Admin › Users to invite people (a sign-in link valid for 7 days), switch accounts off and on, and see sites, storage and Foreman use per person.

Plugin 0.6.0

  • One-click sign-in and self-update.

September 9, 2026

  • New: Backup storage. Each site’s Backups page shows how much storage its backups use and your total across all sites; each backup shows how much it added. The Dashboard shows the total too.
  • Backups removed by the keep rules now show as Expired instead of looking restorable.
  • Fixed: the Foreman chat could go blank in newer versions of Chrome while it was answering.
  • API: backups include added_bytes and the expired status; a single site includes backup_storage_bytes.

September 7, 2026

  • New: Ask the Foreman, a chat that answers from your live site data and proposes jobs (backups, updates, installs, restores, clones, schedule changes) as approval cards. Nothing changes until you approve.
  • New: Settings › AI: use your own Anthropic key to ask anything, choose the model and turn on web search.

September 5, 2026

  • New: Webhooks (Settings › Webhooks): signed POSTs when backups, restores and updates finish or fail, and when a site disconnects. Retries, delivery log, and subscribe over the API for Zapier and Make.
  • New: Public API v1 with personal access tokens (Settings › API tokens) and per-token abilities. Sites, clients, inventory, backups, settings, .zip, restore, clone, plugin/theme/core actions, bulk updates and activity. See the API section.

September 3, 2026

  • New: Clone / migrate: copy any backup onto another connected site, for staging copies or moving hosts. URLs (including serialized and JSON data) and table prefixes are fixed automatically.
  • Plugin 0.5.0: search-replace and prefix fixes for cloning.

September 1, 2026

Plugins, themes & updates

  • New: Plugins & themes page for each site: install (wordpress.org search or a .zip link), activate, deactivate, update and delete, one at a time or in bulk. WordPress core updates too.
  • New: Updates page listing every waiting update across all sites; update a whole group or selected sites at once.
  • New: backup before updates and deletes (on by default), and a Recent work log of every change.
  • New: Refresh all sites on the Dashboard and Sites page checks every site at once. The Dashboard also shows updates waiting and failed backups.

Plugin 0.4.0
